2016 marked 40 Years of Oriental Arts and Satinder Sartaaj was the obvious choice to celebrate this landmark as his work transcends boundaries which is a triumph considering the world we live in today A multi-gifted artist, songwriter, singer, composer and poet. Satinder Sartaaj possesses an unprecedented list of achievements and remains in the fore front of his craft, a true inspiration.

MELA 2010


The Mela is a free one-day festival held in Bradford City Park and is part of the Bradford Festival.

Mela from Sanskrit means 'a gathering' or 'to meet' and in the UK Melas provide an opportunity for communities to come together to celebrate and share their cultures. At the Mela there will typically be children's activities, face painting, exhibitions, funfair rides, interactive sports, visual arts, street theatre, music and dance on stage, singers, crafts, costume making, stalls selling food, a bio dome, and marquees.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Concert


February 1988

The greatest Qawwali singer of all time. Nusrat comes from a long line of venerated qawwali singers which can be traced back at least 600 years.
